Upcycled Labs – Summer

Upcycled Labs – Summer

Upcycle Labs

Upcycle Labs is an open-ended, STEM-inspired exploration of building, problem-solving, and creative experimentation using recycled and reclaimed materials. Campers will design, construct, test, take apart, and reimagine everyday items while exploring basic engineering concepts, material properties, and cause-and-effect through hands-on making. Some creations may become functional builds, some playful inventions, and others thoughtful experiments along the way. The focus is on process, curiosity, and creative confidence rather than perfect outcomes.

Through creative reuse, campers will also build an awareness of sustainability by learning how materials can be repurposed instead of discarded, encouraging innovation and environmental responsibility.

Expect hands-on making, inventive thinking, and lots of room for curiosity.
